The Metaverse provides a virtual reality space where users can have unique experiences interacting with other users in a computer-generated environment.
Many people in the computer industry believe it is possible that the Metaverse will be the next evolution of the internet.

As gaming became more popular and innovations in interactive technologies developed, people wanted to connect to a universe where they could interact in an alternative way other than the real world.
The metaverse also allows us to be who we want to be. So it is also a great alternative to how you may wish to learn or engage in the future.
It provides a unique space and opportunity to be super creative.

Activity 1: Design a Petaverse Metaverse 🌏🐶🐟🐈🐹🐰
Get creative! Design your very own Metaverse for your special pet: a Petaverse 🌏🐶🐟🐹🐰
Would you love to design a world for your special pet? Then THIS is your challenge to shine 🌟
● Estimated time needed: 30 minutes
● Level: easy-peasy suitable for any age!

Use the link provide below to design your Petaverse.
Instructions
Step 1: Answer these 6 questions to describe your Petaverse:
What is your pet? Give your pet a name
What are the characteristics of your pet?
What type of world would you develop for your pet?
What’s in your world that your pet would like to do?
What benefits are there for keeping your pet in this world?
Can your pet interact with others in your Petaverse?
Answer Example:
Introducing Goldie.
She is a sweet, happy goldfish that loves to do tricks.
I would love to build an underwater sea adventure park for her. It has all different places for Goldie to visit and do.
I am sure she would like to swim in the sea caves, explore the sunken ships, go in and out of a giant seaweed maze and explore the coral shelves in the reef zone.
Having my virtual pet keeps me happy, lets me be creative, keeps real animals free and not captured, no cost to feed or keep her, but gives me empathy to think of her wellbeing and what she might like to do!
It would be good to interact with other sea creature pets and marine life friends…but remember we don’t eat our playmates so no snacking allowed on Goldie!!
Step 2: Use the AI tool to generate your Petaverse!!
1. Go to the website Stable Diffusion: https://stablediffusionweb.com/
2. Click on the “Get Started for Free” button.
3. Type your prompt into the Enter Your Prompt bar. Try out some different prompts to generate images until you get one you really like for your Petaverse.
Step 3: Save your work visual work and share it with us, along with your 6 answers to hello@gdostem.com.au Remember to put TAFE Metaverse Challenge #6 in the subject line!!
